Gresley is a small client side engine that runs applications written in XML with embedded ECMA script.

Gresley can be installed locally although current customers use Java WebStart as the preferred dilivery mechanism. Gresley uses standard HTML to communicate with a server running php.

Applications can be rapidly upgraded by rolling out on the server much like HTML. Customers benefit from application upgrades without needing to install any new code.

Gresley is built to fully utilise a database environment all database connectivity is taken care of. Developers need not write any database code.

Gresley is most suitable where clients require distributed applications to facilitate their business such as website content control, management of Ecommerce sales, stock control, contact management, financial tracking and so on.
